From its base in Richardson Texas, Cochran Imagers develops, manufactures, and provides state-of-the-art Thermal Imagers for fire, search and rescue, and special operations.

The GEN IV Family of thermal imagers are the most technologically advanced on the planet, bringing features that have never before been seen or avaliable on a thermal imager. Capable of capturing and storing up to 40,000 images automatically or on-demand and stores up to 20,000 Hours of Mission Data at a One-Second Sampling.

The GEN IV Fire is designed for Fire Fighting applications, features white-hot/black-hot toggling, multiple color palattes to select from, and 5 hours on one battery charge.

The GEN IV S&R has been designed for Search & Rescue applications both on land and water, features multiple zoom levels, color plalette specifically designed to identify a human heat signature, capable of detecting human activity at 1500 ft (475m).

The GEN IV Stealth Thermal Imager is designed for surveillance activities, multiply color palettes and user demand back-light control, capable of detecting human activity at 1500 ft (475m).

CFS's thermal imaging units enable firefighters to navigate unfamiliar territory seeing obstacles to be avoided. Smoke filled environments don't have to be searched by touch a victim can be spotted in a fraction of the time. Rooms exit points (doors, windows, etc.) can be seen immediately.
